Usmc2009 Posted January 1, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 1, 2021 Was wondering if there are any porcelain dish collectors out there? Picked up this small plate about 10years ago and was looking for some opinions on it. Thanks, John

Jack the Collector Posted January 14, 2021 Share #5 Posted January 14, 2021 John,I am not a crockery expert, but I am an avid Reichsbahn collector.I have to dig out my book on DRB Table services from storage and will fill you in more soon.this is what I can tell you now.Judging from the post title you want to know if this is off Goring's train. All the formal service porcelain off both Hitler's and Goring's special trains had gold rims only. However and this is why I want to dig out my reference book,it is if memory serves, could be from the salon car on those trains. Usmc2009 Posted January 15, 2021 Author Share #6 Posted January 15, 2021 Thank you for the reply. Yes I am a little curious as to it’s origin the person I bought it from new nothing about it just that he bought it at an auction. In my research I have seen the same pattern also numbered on the bottom and have asked many dealers at military/gun shows over the years but never really got a straight answer it always ends at if I want to sell it. Is there a good Reichsbahn reference book? I would appreciate any additional information! Thanks, John

Kwc271 Posted March 21, 2021 Share #9 Posted March 21, 2021 Regardless of where it originated, I think it is a very cool piece.
