Officers Broad Sword used by Highland Regiments in the British Army - Made In Solingen

Please help ID this modern British sword made in Solingen, Germany. There are two markings on the upper blade "E. & F. Hörster - Solingen" and "Proved" in a hexagram. I suppose it is British because of the "E R II" marking on the blade. I even don´t know if it is military (my first thought was studentica). The total lenght of the sword is about 1 meter.

Thanks in advance for your help!
