gunnertwo Posted February 23, 2021 Share #1 Posted February 23, 2021 The early semi-auto handguns have always interested me. The designs were going through transitions and many were not that reliable in use. Many pistols were still fed by chargers and it was felt that was more serviceable than a detachable magazine. If the magazine was lost it became a lousy single shot. The M07 and the later Steyr Hahn M12 were both fed by chargers. Here is my example of the M07 posed with some period awards and a postcards. gunnertwo Posted February 23, 2021 Author Share #2 Posted February 23, 2021 One last pic showing Austrian Navy sailors carrying the M7. The unusual holster had a side pocket that held two chargers. G2
SARGE Posted February 23, 2021 Share #3 Posted February 23, 2021 These are very neat space gun looking pistols. The German Gendarmerie continued to use them during WWII. Is yours property marked by chance?
gunnertwo Posted February 24, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted February 24, 2021 No markings except the date proof. The version made by Steyr is on my want list. G2
