  The World At War is a 26 episode documentary about the Second World War.  It was British made, and narrated by Laurence Olivier.   It aired in the US in 1975.   At 15 years old i would anxiously await each new episode. 

  My Dad was a WWII veteran.  He was a rigger with the 13th Airborne Division.  I watched the entire series with him.  It was an added bonus to have his commentary.  He also use to sing along with the  German music.  An experience that i treasure to this Day.
