Proud Kraut Posted October 10, 2021 #7 Posted October 10, 2021 I have moved your topic to the correct section.
SkullheadAA11 Posted October 14, 2021 Author #8 Posted October 14, 2021 I have received this pin now and I think it looks pretty genuine. What do you think? marked rzm M1/14 M1/14 for "Matth. Oescbsler & Sohn, Ansbach". http://www.military-antiques-stockholm.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_30_42&products_id=7295
SkullheadAA11 Posted November 7, 2021 Author #11 Posted November 7, 2021 I got no reply to this post, but I think I can authenticate this myself by posting this pic from another forum... same as the one to the right.
SARGE Posted November 9, 2021 #12 Posted November 9, 2021 The markings on the last SA pin on the right are raised (like the "6" next to it) while they are indented on the one you ask about from what I can see. You now have it in hand so is the pin you asked about die struck or cast? Personally, I am more comfortable with die struck pins and ones with twisted pins than the other styles.
