Tonomachi Posted April 7, 2022 #2 Posted April 7, 2022 These have been heavily copied over the years. A close up photo of the rear lugs and how they attach to the back would be helpful in determining if it is a copy. Rhodesian lugs are different from British lugs which is one way to determine if you have a fake piece.
Mr.Jerry Posted April 7, 2022 Author #3 Posted April 7, 2022 Thanks I'll get better pics. it came with a para badge too, so I'll get some shots of that as well.
AKC123 Posted April 10, 2022 #4 Posted April 10, 2022 Any luck getting those close ups? Id be interested in seeing them myself as well to learn something thanks.

Milihfra Posted May 24, 2022 #6 Posted May 24, 2022 Authentic versions have much larger lugs than the one shown. I also think the 1st version is unmarked and later ones are maker marked.
RhodesianMilitaria Posted July 15, 2022 #7 Posted July 15, 2022 If it's a fake of an ORs badge then it's made from the wrong material because ORs badges were anodized aluminium and die struck. The reverse was smooth. The first issue were not stamped. ORs collar badges were never stamped.
