Chinese Trench Art Lamp - War of Chapei 1932 - Shanghai

This dragon motif trench art lamp commemorates the War of Chapei, which erupted at the Shanghai International Settlement on Jan 28, 1932.   If my memory serves me correctly…the etched brass shell dates to the turn of the century and has Chinese arsenal markings.
