I would be leery about buying this because the British paratrooper wing is basically their current jump wing (wrong era). My guess is that someone added insignia to a genuine WW2 British battle dress uniform jacket. -

To me the Crown looks like the Russian one, if so, what looks like a A under it may stand for Александр, this being Alexander, Czar Alexander, the first one, who ruled from 23 March 1801 – 1 December 1825. -

And I think this is the only other one RATE who was awarded the KC, Walther Gerhold, a Midget Sub Man of Kleinkampfflottille 361 of K Verband, Gerhold lived to be 91, June 8 1921-March 2 2013, his Rate was Schreiberobergefreiter, what is a Yeoman in our Navy, he obviously volunteered for this unit after service on Destroyers. Gerhold may have sunk another ship other then the one he's credited for off the Coast of Normandy, not the Free Polish Navy one. https://www.tracesofwar.com/persons/35528/Gerhold-Walther.htm -

Picked up this bayonet recently and have been unable to id it. European? If someone recognizes the tang markings would love to hear. Does fit a US .58 rifle. But it's certainly not a US marked bayonet. Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks!
