Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me understand this unusual thing. The only information I can find about it anywhere on the internet is this translation in German from this weapons book. I understand it's a gas / flare button but don't understand why they're so little information on it not even another picture anywhere.... (at least that I can find). Does anyone else own one? if so have you fired it?.....thanks -

Our good friend and volunteer "Doc" died suddenly on August 5th. His fiance arrived this evening to arrange for the final shipment of her household goods, and brought Doc's Fedayeen helmet to give us. Every now and then, he'd good naturedly taunt me with pictures of it. Upon his death, the manager of his estate set it aside to be sold, but was unsuccessful. I didn't ask the price, but Beth purchased it, because she knew Doc would've wanted me to have it. Of course, I'm excited to have it, but I'd much rather still have Doc ribbing me about it. We all shed more than a few tears. Doc originally started his military career as a Navy Corpsman (hence his nickname) and eventually switched to the Air Force Reserves (Security Forces), retiring last year as a Master Sergeant. He'd done TEN deployments during the GWOT. He had a photo on his phone of a tunnel in Iraq with these helmets laying around, so I might ask for a copy of that somewhere down the road. As is common, the ziggy-zaggy has been popped off. -

Hi Shemp, I ran across this emblem. It looks original. Your thoughts? -

If you run across one could you give me a heads-up? I'll keep an eye out - thank you -

Nope. I guess I’ll go with “circa 1980s” until someone proves me wrong. -

Well that isn’t an answer😵💫. I see they also have a FB page. -

I did receive a prompt response, but no answers. Dear Sir, Thank you for your email. I am very sorry that we are unable to help, would it be possible to give us more information and let us know where did you find this cap? Many thanks, Tim
