Hi   Smaller buttons, that are connected, were usually used on dress gala javkets. These wouldn't have buttons sewn on, but rather cufflink-like buttons, that closed it. Though I have never seen bakelite ones. They are usually golden as far as I know... However, there are far more knowledgeable people here and this really isn't my field of "expertise", so I would wait for others to chime in  Hope you get some other answers   Cheers, Jules

I guess your right as it being against regulation to pierce the shell etc. although according to Stuart Bates, author of the "The Wolseley Helmet," this rule was observed as much in the breach as in the observance. It looks too used to be a modern repro. and too authentic in its manufacture with puggaree, makers label and mechanism of offset of sweatband.  Could it be genuine 19thCentury, pre-Wolseley issue? Thanks again. Laurence Also named 'Dolan'

I have this in a larger size and assume it's WW2 German but these are small and connected in pairs, perhaps for an overcoat button. Any info is appreciated.   This is all the germandaggers.com page has on WW2 German navy buttons. https://www.germandaggers.com/Gallery/BT.php

Looks fine to me. Try asking in the sister forum. And do not post links. Open the link yourself and take screenshots. https://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php

Hey guys,   What do you think of this? It has a tag with a pretty clear date of manufacture. Please see the link.   Thank you!!    LINK

Anyone know an approximate value for this shooting medal?

Well now I feel like a dumb dumb.. it came with that frog originally but it looked like it absolutely did not go to it. So I painted it green and put it on a thicker Scabbard that goes to an Argentine bolo machete... It looked just like that one raw so I thought it was some sort of generic knockoff or something.... Hope I didn't ruin it and take any value away...lol do you know what one of these complete bayonet setups with the Scabbard and a painted frog would be valued at these days... I can't find any that I have sold or are for sale...thanks

I'm looking into buying general assault badge and wound badge from the pictures. I'm not into medals so I can't tell between older and newer repros, even originals. Could you tell me more about them? Are those old reproductions or newer ones that are aged? Every help is welcome.
