Hey all, long time lurker first time poster. I saw this NSDAP hat on an auction, It certainly looks like it may be good to me with appropriate wear and aging. It’s missing the wreath around the cockade but the condition isn’t too bad. NSDAP is out of my wheelhouse, but it’s a great looking hat; if anyone has insight on authenticity and fair market value that would be super helpful. Thanks in advance! I acquired these binoculars in a antique shop several years ago. From my research, I understand these to be WWII era, Kriegsmarine "u-boat" binoculars. they are marked "BLC" Made by the Carl Zeiss Co. of Jena. They are 7x50. They have screw on, flip-up plastic/Bakelite eyecups. The body has a black finish or coating. Most if it is missing, suggesting heavy use. From what I've read online I believe these to be an early patten of the binoculars. A 1st or 2nd pattern? It also has what seems to be it's original neck carry strap. For reference Here are some similar binoculars Photo a similar pair of binoculars being used by a German U-Boat crew member I'm hoping other members might be able tell me more about these binoculars? This is PDF file about WWII German Navy/Kriegsmarine "U-boat" Binoculars. U-boat_binoculars_and_other_items1.pdf -

Look closely at the area above the 1940. Your buckle looks like it might be from Dr. Franke & Co. -

A salty looking buckle. A ball-peen hammer will make your buckle fit on a nice used belt on a nice used field service Heer tunic. A good find. Congratulations! -

This Sunday, April 26th is the next monthly Bellflower SOCALMICS show. Southern California's best kept secret for militaria. Remember the show is over pretty early, usually by 10;30am. -

One more added to the collection! There are no breaks in the rubberized scabbard and intergral frog. The frog hangers are slightly pliable; I am going to display the blade beside the scabbard to ensure there is no chance of damaging it.
