Just a guess, - could have made in Egypt, India, Japan, Fiji, Singapore and many other areas where Commonwealth Forces served. below are a a few pages from a book by Barry and Matthew O’Sullivan Comparison with fabrics fro the different countries would be a means to identify the origin of the garment. -

While at a trift store I noticed a coat that looked military, after a minute of inspecting it I finally found the tag. I believe this is west german? I don't have a photo of the whole coat but I got two photos online that look to be the same. I did take a picture of the tag for future reference. I was wondering if anyone could tell me when it's from? -

Yes they're called arm of service strips and Yes, Sergeant. Though he dose not have the Royal Armoured Corps Arc for whatever reason. -

had this badge also like the pilot badge i listed for many years. it is made by Assmann. like the pilot badge i listed this one also has a war time repair from what i have been told. love these Luftwaffe badges.
