That’s a great collection. Norwegian militaria is something I know nothing about but I love to learn about new things. I also love the picture of your dog wearing that hat. mikie -

I haven't been on WMF in a while (Holidays), so I was pleasantly surprised to see you finished this model. I love all the interaction of the figures here. I especially love the gun loader. Well done again, Lars. Semper Fi. Manny -

These guys are from the 3rd Parachute Division, this division fought only against Americans in Normandy, so I vote The Netherlands Leigh. What was left after Normandy formed up in Belgium, they along with replacements etc etc were rebuilding etc a Kampfgruppe was put toglhter and moved north to Holland for the opposing of Market Garden, this Kampfgruppe sees action against the British Pars apparently. -

Yes, this is Sten SMG.. Perhaps a captured trophy from a previous skirmish with British Soldiers in Normandy or some other area Leigh -

From a picture posted in Panzer Archeology. Does this Fallschirmjäger trooper have a British Sten submachine gun in his hand? Fallschirmjäger hitching a ride on a Tiger II. One on the rear appears to be handing a motorcyclist a cigarette. -

I found a Giesselmann who was a town area commandant in Poland (City of Przemysl). I have the book "The Key" by Bernard Brule that has the numerical indexes to a number of the SS Dienstalterslistes. I would need to know Giesselmanns SS number to cross refernce. Leigh -

Thank you! The last few days have been a wild ride and we're very excited about the direction this is going. I've seen that book and have considered buying a copy, but for now I'm waiting to get info back from a man who is checking the archives and records about the ring's owner. We know that he existed, which is a good start!
