I see nothing wrong with this helmet, the Finns were more prone to Hungarian shells, and they had their own liners. As Preppy Picker mentioned, the decal is the way you would expect it to be in regards to the rust. The best thing to do would be learn for yourself what to look for because when you ask for opinions, you will get them, and that's all they are... I could go on but there's no point.        Scott

I agree with Marshallj.  Another red flag for me is that the pins have no knurling and are poorly affixed and made.  

Fake or not, once you have doubts they never go away.

I don’t care if it’s real but I’d like to see a picture of the decal. The images you posted are blurry. Who is selling this? We need to warn members to stay away from them. Why do you want to protect them?

My contention is that this is a Finnish helmet that was painted/aged for the reasons I specified. You are, of course welcome to differ.

I don’t write about the times I strike out which are far more numerous. With all the retired people there is tons of stuff in Florida. 

I don't see the whole magazine, but by the looks it's single stack magazine and in theory it should hold 40 9x19mm rounds. So far, looking at the guide on the back, I think it's from WW2 Waffenfabrik Bern MP41/44, a Swiss submachine gun produced between 1941 and 1945 in Switzerland.  Here's the best picture I could find online.  

How come when I go to the flea market all I see is endless tee shirts, used clothes, junk and piles of stuff that should have been thrown away long ago. 😆 Gee whiz!!!!!!!!!! Wish I knew! 😀

I have never seen this kind of pinback fitting on a French badge. It is probably a repair. Can't tell you much about the badge itself or the beret for that matter. But the beret doesn't look local made. It could be from any European country.
