Looks like a Czech copy of an M35, the decals are most definetly fake. -

Hey all, sorta circling back, I never did indeed do a Field division but instead switched to SS, I portray 9th and 12th SS primarily but prefer 9th because they weren’t that bad. I only do 12 because of my age really. Anyways, here’s a layout of my MG kit and I hope to get some good photos of my kit soon. I need to get nicer tunic and break in my gear some more, plus an actuall SS buckle, but those are mostly small things the hard part was getting all the kit. -

It looks like a knife that I first remember seeing in the 1980s. I think it’s German manufactured but not 100% sure. -

Top pic is a Heer(Army) Unteroffizier (Corporal) from I would guess an artillery or Pioneer (engineer) regiment #350. Bottom pic is an Army Hauptfeldwebel (First Sgt) who has seen some action, with Iron cross (2nd class) ribbon and other (Ost front?) and what may be a Panzer badge. IMO both pics would be after 1940. -

Thanks for your help. I might still might offer him a few bucks for it. I cant afford a real one yet and it would still look good next to my other stuff. -

The scabbard should be made from pressed steel. The scabbard on this one is cast white metal which didn’t happen pre 1945. -

Fake. The biggest give away is the lip on the scabbard. And it says made in Germany. Fakes have no value. $25 is the highest I would pay for a German made fake. $0 for a Chinese fake. -

The seller says its RMZ but i don't see any markings on it. if it is fake i would still like it for displaying what would be a fair price for a fake? Jason -

I'd like to make a correction... On closer inspection, I did see the "2" in the "21" from post #4. My prime suspicion was that the pin clasp at the bottom of the reverse was a dead giveaway, as was the pin hinge contruction at the top of the reverse. Enlarging the images from posts #1 & #2, it also looks like a one - piece construction. It is a well - made reproduction. However... The 1939 Iron Cross with the maker mark "21" was manufactured by Gebrüder Godet & Co. Specifically, this maker mark is associated with the Iron Cross Second Class 1939. https://www.treasurebunker.com/forums/index.php?/topic/3091-how-to-tell-if-a-iron-cross-1st-and-2nd-class-is-real-or-fake/ -

I’m not a fan. I don’t think these were made this way.
