You need to go back and study Japanese helmets some more. Italian helmets have a completely different shape and liner.

The Italian helmet appears to be a nice one.  If the price is right, it's worth picking up in its own right.   Steve 

Yes, Italian all the way. Japanese Navy still used the type 90 like the army, just some differences in the liner, badge/stencil, and markings.   Scott

Looks like a Czech copy of an M35, the decals are most definetly fake.

Hey all, sorta circling back, I never did indeed do a Field division but instead switched to SS, I portray 9th and 12th SS primarily but prefer 9th because they weren’t that bad. I only do 12 because of my age really. Anyways, here’s a layout of my MG kit and I hope to get some good photos of my kit soon. I need to get nicer tunic and break in my gear some more, plus an actuall SS buckle, but those are mostly small things the hard part was getting all the kit.
