It looks like it was made in East Germany. It's probably an NVA officer's dress jacket. -

Found this nice jacket in a thrift store. Cream grayish in color with included tabs. Just a modern jacket? Any branch significance? Tag says, Made in Germany -

Found this holster in an antiques store today. Long, black. cleaning rod included. There are NO markings on or in it. Looks European, but what country? An ID would be great. -

"On investigation there are 2 companies with the same name, that used the same code N76 : TEMPERED SPRINGS. One in NSW and one in MANCHESTER. It does NOT look like and aussie refurb marking? ALSO A mark on the receiver that is a: C on top of a 2, inside a circle. Again this does not fit with any CANADIAN proof stamps i have seen." N76 refers to the dispersal TEMPERED SPRINGS factory in sheffield & the C over a 2 enclosed within a circle are typical MALTBY inspector stamps (the lower the numbers, the more senior the inspector) Seems full british, fired last weekend, the barrel a bit pitted as not been cared for, but still shoots. happy days :) -

Post #4: I found a potential source. During my search, I was stunned to discover how scarce a lot of DDR militaria is becoming, especially Bausoldat related material. https://www.germandotmilitaria.com/sbbs104-12-bausoldat-bautruppen-service-without-weapon-pair-of-colour-coded-collar-tabs/ Post #3: This comes to mind... Another image of the shoulderboards, from cyberspace: -

Over the years I only found 2 TDB from vets but they are now gone. Feel free to post yours here or elsewhere on the forum. I for one would love to see it.
