Bravíssimo, Valerio! What a spectacular set, and how pleasing it is to see a family member valuing history by preserving everything with such care and dedication. It’s hard to say what stands out the most; The Arditi dagger, the bullion sleeve insignia, the Arditi Cross, the ANMIG pin, or the Medaglia al Valor Militare. Do you happen to have a photo of him wearing the uniform during the war? I would be happy to see more images, especially close-ups, including the veteran’s portrait. -

Sorry, but they look like nothing but costume jewellery/theatre props. -

Hi, thank you for your thoughts 👍 The green material is rubberised like some of the 1960's 90's magazine pouches. I'm guessing it goes with a belt but was that belt rubberised too but of the old German pattern with the tongue inside the belt ? Against the more common belt -

This buckle does not look like any Bw "Kastenschloss" variant I have seen before and is not mentioned in any of my Bw uniform books but I never say never until the opposite is proven. Marking looks like "OLC" (Overhoff & Cie from Luedenscheid), a well known Army supplier, so it was obviously made in Germany. Some thoughts, maybe a prototype or a very very short existing variant? Maybe made for other services like Zivilschutz, Red Cross, etc.? Maybe made for other country´s forces? I have to do some more research. Question: Is the flap rubberized? -

Hi, i recently acquired this buckle. Looks Bundeswehr. The framed pebbling, the drab nylon flap but pronged and with a non combat style female hook catch. one small marking inside, which i have tried to show. Thoughts anyone ?
