i got this from the family of a vet when he passed several years ago. I assume he picked it up after the war as he was in the C.B.I. Theater. One stamp before the patent is something with what looks like a 77. The one after looks like a German eagle with a 623 or 625 stamped under it. Nothing special I know but it is fun to shoot. Didn't see a date of manufacture on it and I don't know what the stamps mean so any info would be great. Thanks Mark -

I assume it doesn't give the division number? The other examples I've seen have miniature collar tabs with the division number on them...thanks again for your help! Mark sends -

Again, couldn’t find a size 8, sooooo…… had a go at making my own. This is it, my reproduction. Another version of my reproduction fabric but owned and tailored by Karl Jackson. I think he makes a pretty decent smock. This is mine, made by USV Gear from my reproduction Gabardine fabric These were my Kit Jackson, no relation to Karl or me. He went for a Windak feel. You can see how the base taupe colour changes with camera settings / lighting conditions. Some time appearing quite yellow -

Very interesting. This is a participation medal for a special large-scale training exercise conducted by a Japanese military division stationed in Korea in 1935FY. It also reveals that the owner was an infantryman. P.S. Originally, it looks like this item. https://finis.sequile.autos/item-g9qaj7sp1p.html Some of them are different, but the contents are the same, so I think there are some variations. -
