Hello, I'm Sean, and I am happy to be a part of this forum. I have been collecting militaria since a young age but have started to up my game more recently expanding into WW1 and WW2 items. Far from an expert and looking to learn a lot from others. Again, happy to be here! -

Thank you Titus I appreciate it & all your assistance you've given. Ive used all input to pick up a Type 90 navy helmet, an NCO Katana. Also a named goodluck flag which came with a recruitment sash, armband and a rules regulations booklet (named to the flag). Booklet has a section for the soldier to write any they liked. Wish I read Japanese! -

Pictures are not to great for the Kriegsmarine Dagger, need better images of the etching, the blade has issues, possibly rust or zinc pest. Scabbard looks alright. Wide chest eagle is a good sign. In this condition though I would not expect to pay more than $650-700ish... Just my thoughts. The Luftwaffe Dagger also needs better images, but I see no glaring Red Flags at this point, again price maybe in the $600 range.. plus or minus... Leigh -

I don't feel very comfortable with the eagle, the wearing or lack of in the swaz area, looks a bit odd and it looks a lot like this newer fake, but not exactly. I'll defer to one of the more experienced helmet guys though. Decals are such a minefield, almost as bad as the dang chinstraps. -

Thanks Marshallj, Edelweisse, & jmd62 for confirmations. Anyone know a site I can find the manufacturer codes for these? Only getting “LDO” codes which do not go that high. -

Guy I know I selling these. These are the pictures he texted me. The Luft dagger has been personalized but no research has been done on who did it or who it belonged to. The Luft is unmarked as well. What do you guys think? If real. What would the value be? -
