That's what I was thinking, it would take a lot of work to get this type of wear on a buckle. Yeah it's definitely not worth hundreds like originals. -

Got this WW2 Chinese coat. Tailor label is named to H. L. Min and is dated November 25, 1942. Haven't been able to find out anything about this coat, i.e. type/model, unit, Chinese and/or Americans. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've got no interest in keeping it. Any idea on price? -

Hello, I would say yes. It would take a lot of trouble to produce an item this degraded which would not have a relative high value. I have a couple Heer buckles in similar condition. cheers! -

I bought this ground dug SS belt buckle from overlooked militaria. I know they are a trustworthy source and they are recommend through different collecting forums. But I'd like to get a second opinion on this. The owner told me it's real, I have no doubt and believe he's telling the truth. I'm just hoping this isn't a repro that slipped through as an original. He unfortunately doesn't know where it was dug up from. -

Very impressive. Not a navy collector, but enjoyed seeing this unusual item. Thanks for posting. Dave -

Received it today. better photos. I cleaned it a little so you can see the Navy issue mark. -

Agree that this is a cast copy, post war made. Imperfections in the arms of the swastika (not smooth or at least filed down) Red Flag for me. Leigh -

Are WW1 cups hard to find? I may get a repro for the time being just to have something with it. I figured the khaki was probably incorrect. Do you know what the khaki strap originally would of went to? -

Nice. Shame it has no cup. Shoulder strap should be leather. Ricn A. in Pa.
