If anyone one here have a WW2 German Navy boatswain pipe please post a photo of it. When I search eBay for one you see a lot that look like modern fakes sone will have made in Germany in English. I would like to add one to my collection of boatswain pipes. The Japanese ones were easier to ID since a few were posted and sold at military collectors store sites plus the Japanese had a bigger Navy than Germany in WW2 so a few more out there but still rare. Just would like to know how to ID a real one.

Two guesses by me - one would be a Chinese officer in the USA assigned to some type of military mission or training or two, a Chinese officer who had it made in Hong Kong. Any idea what the laundry ticket says?

I am not a German collector, but I just bought a lot that included a GI's bring back items. Among them was this SS enlisted buckle and belt. While there is a small area of the back of the buckle that I can't see very well, I do not see any markings. I see a "86" or "98" in the belt leather, but nothing else. I was hoping to get professional opinions on this one. Thanks so much!

This is sort of an odd one. It came out of the collection of William R Bricker after he passed away and then ended up on eBay where I got it. I had a booklet from the NAWCC that had his stuff on exhibit. The issue mark on it some collectors think it might not be right and some do. But this is a rare watch in itself so don't think someone would ad it. Any info would be apricated. Still has its original key to lock the box and another for turning the hands like on old key wind pocket watches.

The one on the right your right. Here is a photo of that one. It was made in China and sold to sailors of the US Navy Asiatic Fleet maybe to gun boat sailors like that movie the sand pebbles with Steve McQueen if you never seen that movie it's worth a watch. This pipe I paid a lot for but there one on Ebay that the guy wants double so I think I did OK this one has a makers mark still trying to find more info on it.

Very nice. Impressive.  Is the one in the right lower corner the one from China? It looks really nice and ornate. Dave
