That's excellent, just 25 minutes up the road from me. I'll be there, thanks!

Thanks,   yes this was the National Field Police but some regular policemen also worn them.      Many National Police uniforms had been destroyed after the fall of Saigon.

Very nice outfit.  Their camo was distinctive too.

If anyone one here have a WW2 German Navy boatswain pipe please post a photo of it. When I search eBay for one you see a lot that look like modern fakes sone will have made in Germany in English. I would like to add one to my collection of boatswain pipes. The Japanese ones were easier to ID since a few were posted and sold at military collectors store sites plus the Japanese had a bigger Navy than Germany in WW2 so a few more out there but still rare. Just would like to know how to ID a real one.

Two guesses by me - one would be a Chinese officer in the USA assigned to some type of military mission or training or two, a Chinese officer who had it made in Hong Kong. Any idea what the laundry ticket says?

I am not a German collector, but I just bought a lot that included a GI's bring back items. Among them was this SS enlisted buckle and belt. While there is a small area of the back of the buckle that I can't see very well, I do not see any markings. I see a "86" or "98" in the belt leather, but nothing else. I was hoping to get professional opinions on this one. Thanks so much!
