Alsace-Lorraine map which from 1871-1919 was German territory….due to France losing the Franco-Prussian war 1870-71

Original vs reproduction helped quite a bit    

This is a map my friend has, was his grandfathers. Family has origins in Germany. From my limited understanding it's French territory but a German Staff Officers map. Any help appreciated in a better understanding. For some reason my photo is not attracting correctly. ?? Photos of map.

I am looking at this AC 42 Walther P.38 with matching serial numbers on the Collectors Firearms website for $1,895. Is $1,895 a good price for an all original parts matching AC 42 Walther P.38? I would really like to add this to my collection.

Loose examples pop up from time to time on the bay.   

I found pics of an original & the difference between mine & the original are easy to see.    Any input as to where I might find an original would be appreciated. Thank you - Mike

Getting around to doing some due diligence. The first looks alright to me, aside from the unfortunate broken catch. Am I right to assume this is a silver, based on the remaining wash on the back? The second looks like a cast fake to me. Don't like the lines on the helmet and other details on the reverse in particular. But ready to be proven wrong, if this is just a variant I haven't seen before! Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
