I keep spotting military gear from our galaxy while getting caught up watching Star Wars. Last night I spotted what I at first thought was a British mess tin while watching Ahsoka. This is being sold as a metal MG34 pendant alongside a SS style ring. Admittedly they aren't claiming it "dates to the period" but they're pricing it as such.    So how do I know this is "fake"? Because this is actually a metal cast of a LEGO Brickarms (Brickarms is a unofficial series of gun models for lego figures) MG34 model that had a loop added onto it then aged.  Proof of my claim. The similarities are stunning. Look at the bipod and stock.

As the 2026 Olympics are in progress, I wanted to post this 1936 Olympic Official Souvenir Book - Band II   The majority of pictures are actual photographs pasted into the book.

Since the 2026 Olympics are currently in progress in Italy, I felt this award to workers from the Olympics held 90 years in Berlin Germany would be an appropriate post.   Cased 1936 Berlin Olympic Commemorative Medal awarded to individuals (including foreigners) involved in organizing, hosting, and supporting the 1936 Summer (Berlin) and Winter (Garmisch-Partenkirchen) Games.
