Really a fantastic story and so glad you are saving his items and telling his story for future generations. I hope you find a photo of him in uniform. Scott -

SS Officer Karl Nicolussi-Leck wearing either a custom made Black Leather Jacket with a Black Fur Collar or a custom made Luftwaffe Flying Jacket, I say a custom made Luftwaffe Flying Jacket, because I'm not seeing an issue one looking like this he's wearing. Nicolussi-Leck started out as an Infantryman in the SS Verfugungstrupp/SS Division Reich in the Deuschland Regiment, then reassigned to Der Führer Regiment. He becomes an officer and then transfers to tanks and serves the rest of the war in the 5th SS Panzer Division Wiking's Panzer Regiment. He has his own rather brief WIKI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Nicolussi-Leck -

I don’t like the brass one and the Reichsbahn is definitely fake. -

Hi, a few of my buckles. The last one (Reichsbahn) is an obvious fake but what about the second from last ?? First one obviously WW1. Second & third, pretty straightforward 4th was a buckle given to me as a kid. Being into modelling, i painted it. Much later i removed most of it on the front but not the back. Forgive my young self please. 5th, 6th & 7th are regular Wehrmacht like 2 & 3. The RAD one (8th) is my personal favourite. 9th - a fake ? 10th - an obvious fake. Let me know if you agree 👍🏻 -

Always nice to know who collects what. I am interested in edged weapons and period police uniforms, insignia, and weapons. I am a retired policeman so I like what I am familiar with. -

Welcome aboard! Always nice to welcome another Brit from my hunting grounds! I was stationed at RAF Mildenhall for 7 years of my USAF career back in the 90's. The best years of my life!! I certainly miss the aerojumble sales, British Touring Cars at Snetterton and Duxford airshows. I really enjoyed my British medal collecting there to say the least. -Ski
