October 19, 20187 yr #1 Hello, Can anyone identify this medal? The ribbon is purple and green. Thanks for your help.
October 21, 20187 yr #3 It's certainly in the manner of a British Service Medal, so perhaps it is Pakistani or maybe Sudanese, as they like the Indians continued many of the traditions they had as a part of the old Indian Army.
October 22, 20187 yr #5 It is the Sudan Native Officer's Medal. First issued in 1933, it appears to be quite scarce as the only sale I could find was from 2009 for £880.
October 23, 20187 yr #6 Great job lettow. Here's a grouping sold back in 2016. It's description and price.
