February 2, 20197 yr #3 I think your insignia is actually French. Motorized Artillery (Tanks). In reference to the website, note that the helmet is sitting in the crotch of the crossed cannon barrles whereas the insignia in question, the helmet is centered on the crossed barrles. There was a US tank unit that wore this insignia on the left sleeve of their coats in WWI. French Tanks.
