When being garrisoned in northern Germany our unit trained together with Danish Arty units very closely. During various meetings and joint trainings I collected some of there unit patches. Later a Danish friend sent me some of the older patches. Great buddies - great times.

 

Who knew Denmark had so many artillery units! What level of units are these? Battery, battalion, regiment, or all mixed?

Yes indeed. These are battalion and battery level.

Yes, as far as I remember that had several arty regiments (many of those reserve units) during the cold war. Our Artillerieregiment had a vivid partnerschip with the Nord Jutland Artillery Regiment.

Awesome collection.  When you get them from a comrade in an allied army even better.  Something to be remembered and treasured.
