October 24, 20187 yr #1 I guess I will start this topic with this nice Prussian helmet and 29th Rgt cover. This was brought home by a Jackson Michigan veteran who served in the 26th Engineers. Not really my area of collecting, but the price was way too good to pass on and I have an ancestor that immigrated to California that actually served in the 29th Rgt. Though at a much earlier time. October 24, 20187 yr #3 Pretty decent shape, is the helmet itself dated 1915? 1915 made helmets typically have grey panted hardware.
