"During the first Gulf war on operation Granby,28th sqn GTR,with the band of the Brigade of Gurkha formed the 28th ambulance sqn, which had a formation sign the distinctive jerboa (symbol of the Desert Rats)holding a kukri. Henrik This just seemed interesting to me, a rat holding a kukri for an ambulance group. Of course, in WWI, the insignia for U.S. ambulance drivers was a rooster, never really understood that one either. Thanks for the additional info.
