October 29, 20187 yr #1 This is a piece I chased for 20+ years. A friend bought this back in the early 1980's at Rose Bowl flea market in a pile of misc. hunting clothing. Every time I saw him I would hit him up and ask if he was ready to sell it, and finally one day he said yes.

November 7, 20187 yr #10 Different patterns and cuts were used. The one shown by Bob is the classic "TAP" French Airborne cut (looks like a TAP 47/52?). This photo shows the French "TAP" example on the left, the Vietnamese Pink/Purple/Bulletproof/Blood Cake/Huyet pattern in the center, and the French TTA (straight legs) pattern on the right.
January 4, 20215 yr #16 Why that Owen? TTA 47/52 allégée is a cut that appears in 1947, and is modified in 1952. No pocket on the hips, shoulder pads, slits at the tips of the sleeves. That's what I see above? Then, that 47/52 cut received at least 3 or 4 different camo designs (with some either used in Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia). They were similar to the TAP 47/52, 43/53, 47/54 and finally 47/56. What do I miss?
