October 30, 20187 yr #1 I purchased this uniform basically for the bullion Canadian paratrooper wing but couldn't bring myself to remove it as the overall uniform didn't cost that much. It is named to a Sgt. L. R. Stewart and dated October 26, 1953. I don't think that Stewart served with the Canadian Parachute Regiment during WW2 as there are only two ribbons which I haven't identified yet.

November 4, 20187 yr #9 Another note on the CVSM is that it lacks the maple leaf device for overseas service. So, I think your hypothesis is correct. Rob
January 10, 20197 yr #10 The parachute wings mean that he was parachute qualified, in that he has taken and passed the parachute course, it does not necessarily mean that he served in an airborne unit. The uniform is Dress Blues, something that would be worn in the Mess.
