This was brought home by my Uncle who served in the 573rd SAW BN. He served from D-Day through the end of the war and this was taken at the Bulge. Scott

No, I got it from my Second Cousin who had received it from my Great Grandmother... I knew my Great Uncle quite well and he was alive until 2006, but he never mentioned the souvenirs. This pennant along with a Red Cross badge (German) a couple of medals and a small party flag were in a Bible box and were given to me just a couple of years ago. Scott

Scott,

A little late to the party but this is an incredible piece and to know it belong to family is even better

Thanks Leigh, its certainly a bit out of my realm of collecting, but since it was brought home by my Uncle, it has a home in my collection. Scott

The Germans sure knew something about quality and detail. This is one very historical pennant.

Very tough pennant to find. I have one for TENO that is also extremely rare. Pony.
