Can someone please translate this Polish inscription?

 

It is on the inside of a wooden carved cigarette case.

 

The only thing I can kind of pull out of it is a name of a German town.

We originally thought this was Polish but a native speaker said it might be Romanian or Hungarian but for sure not Polish.

Was just told it might be Lithuanian or Latvian

Checked with someone at work and she confirmed it's Lithuanian. I have asked her for a translation

It says something like "To our kind Mr. Balcuinas, Forever greatful, Jazikeviciene and daughter"

How cool! Thanks for sharing the picture! I've never gotten to see actual written Lithuanian before! The Baltic countries are so interesting.
