This is one of the best books about evaders in France. Denys Teare tells his story about being shot down and evading capture in France. Many different French people helped him escape detection, and he actually chose to stay with some of them until actual liberation. Well, told, exciting and informative all in one! If evaders or French Resistance appeals to you, then this is a must-read! Can't recommend it enough! We have the paperback shown below. It is a trade size, nice white paper, and does include some photographs. Very nice book, excellent story!
