November 9, 20187 yr #3 It is a French paratrooper wing but I don't think it is a legitimate one. It looks like maybe a theater made piece but I don't think so. You see these every now and then. I was told once that these were given out during some event awhile back. I don't have specifics as I forgot what was explained to me a long time ago.
November 10, 20187 yr #5 Tony: This is a sand cast version of the French Parachute Brevet. While original Indochina made examples do exist, they have also been heavily faked. My first impression is that they are fake and I would need more information to confirm this. I have several documented examples in my collection which I obtained directly from Indochina veterans.
