Small diving eagle associated with the 1st (Polish) Ind Para Brig

I was wondering if there has ever been a definite identification on this small diving eagle that has some kind of association with the WW2 era 1st (Polish) Independent Parachute Brigade? Based on the rear pin back assembly it was made in the UK. I remember reading something about this piece that there was a drawing of this diving eagle on brigade letterhead however it was never made into a pin. Is this a fantasy piece that someone in the UK made up to fool collectors? Anyone know for sure?
