If anyone has Coldstream Guards badges, cap badges, uniform buttons, etc. , would love to see photos! I am particularly interested in the Crimean era, but I know the WWI era didn't change much. Any would be of interest!

Roughly 1 7/8".

 

Officers badges would be of a higher quality. This would be the case for most if not all units of the British Army. Enlisted men were issued badges, Officers could buy theirs.from various sources.
