Who wore this early Czechoslovakian patch?

I have no information regarding this patch other than it being Czechoslovakian. The patch is embroidery on white wool like material. Is this pre-WW2, WW2 or post WW2? Does anyone know which specific unit wore these possibly on the shoulder or maybe as a pocket patch? Any ideas? it measures 2 inches wide by about 2 2/8 inches long.

If memory serves, that coat of arms was used post-WWI until the 1960s. That fluffy felted wool is very different, especially to have the red shield appliqued. Byt the sewing style I would guess before WWII or a Free Czech during WWII.

Many thanks for your comments. I'm guessing this was worn on a dress uniform as the white wool would get fitly rather quickly if worn on a field uniform.

And you wouldn't think that fluffy felted wool would last up, either. Very interesting patch!
