November 18, 20187 yr #1 I want to take a bit to show you my LW collection of cloth items. I hope that you like everything. These first two photos are of an overview of my uniforms. I tend to stray away from the mainstream. I enjoy the truly obscure and underappreciated. The first featured tunic is a Belgian version made into a LW Generalluftzeugmeister.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #2 The chest eagle is firmly placed onto the tunic and the backing is covered with a r piece of cloth. This insignia is often misidentified as a visor eagle, but these men were not permitted to wear visor caps. All period photos of these men show this eagle as a chest insignia. The visor cap theory is completely post-war.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #3 Next is another Generalluftzeugmeister, this one from a converted French uniform. The Overseas hat is completely German manufacturer. They never had eagles on their headgear, until later when they started using standard LW overseas caps.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #4 Sonderfuhrer officer and NCO grades. I searched years for these. Beamter auf kriegsdauer.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #5 A couple of Administrative service tunics. The Major is from the signals intelligence officials corps. The Oberfeldwebel is from one of several possibilities- cartography, test aviation, ordnance, or aviation photography analysis.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #6 Another photo of the communication official. A Luftwaffe Field Division Uffz, arty. This is a woodwork piece.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #8 . Named Flak tunic from a member of the 49th FL Reg. This very unit was destroyed at Stalingrad. The signals intelligence school tunic is mint. Never worn, but sadly, there is mild mothing to the back (a few pinholes), but still super rare.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #10 OK. The photo margins are getting cut off. To see the entire images, please click on them.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #13 Judicial, Medical, Courts-martial, Air Traffic Control, and Construction Administrative Services.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #17 I have a tray of LWFD and HG EM tabs, but I did not seem to take the photo. I will get that later. Let us move to boards.
November 18, 20187 yr Author #24 I also love air raid response organizations too. I put them under the LW umbrella.
