February 2, 20215 yr #5 Funny thing with this medal is that it is found in WW2 medal groups of European military who fought at the Allied side and it is found in 1957 style WW2 German medal groups. Also European veterans of post WW2 warlike actions carry this medal in their group. Even military who served in Afghanistan, Iraq and Bosnia are eligible. It is only awarded upon request of the veteran, so it is therefore more or less regarded as a "fairyground" medal. Regards Herman
