December 2, 20187 yr #1 I stumbled on this looking for something else: 150 Years of Japanese Uniforms Illustrated Encyclopedia https://otaku.com/products/43228 When they use the term "uniform", it is in a very broad sense as it includes police, magistrates, and rescue swimmers, as well a civilian professions. It is actually intended to be a drawing guide for artists. But perhaps worth a look for those interested in the subject. And yes, it is written in Japanese. Interestingly, none of the WWII uniforms appear on the cover.
