When they use the term "uniform", it is in a very broad sense as it includes police, magistrates, and rescue swimmers, as well a civilian professions.

 

It is actually intended to be a drawing guide for artists. But perhaps worth a look for those interested in the subject.

 

And yes, it is written in Japanese.

 

Interestingly, none of the WWII uniforms appear on the cover.

Interesting book, the description of the IJN Commander's uniform on the left looks basic (but I don't read Japanese either!).
