Hi, all! As I see that I'm single-handedly building up the Repro Gear board . . . I'll just add one more to it! Anyone on here ever tried Bullion embroidery? I am really wanting to try my hands on it, and got a book from the library about the stitches. Just wondering if anyone has done it, and if you had thoughts on thread, etc. I want to get some bullion thread and try in this coming year, hopefully. It was a goal for this past year, but everything happening with Dad . .. I didn't make it, so I have a new "deadline". -grin-

I've looked into it, but never tried it. There is method that involves cutting tiny gold tubes to exact lengths and running thread through the middle to stitch them down. My eyesight isn't good enough for that, but I'd be curious to see what you can do with it.

Would love to see finish work.
