Can anyone identify the unit this soldier is serving with?

Is this a cross above the "9" on the helmet cover? If so it could be a Landwehr/Landsturm unit. I also believe to see metal "L 9 B" collar insignia on the soldier's uniform? Could it be Landsturm-Infanterie-Bataillon 9 or Landsturm-Infanterie-Brigade 9? Only a guess!
