Reminder: Please provide citations

This is just a friendly reminder to please, as much as possible, include a citation giving credit for material that you do not own or to which you do not control the rights.

This includes photographs, text and drawings taken from published material as well as online content.

There are two reasons for this.

One is to recognize the original author, photographer, artist or publisher who made the information or image available.

The second is that the original source may have additional information that might be of interest to our members.

Above this, it is just the right thing to do.

With items from the internet, just copy and paste the website link. With books, magazines, etc., just provide the title and some basic publication information. Alternatively, if the book is currently available in the market, a weblink to Amazon.com or similar website can also be used.

The Moderating Staff and Administrators may remove images or content that has not been properly credited at their sole discretion.
