I recently picked up this helmet from the son of a vet along with a bunch of other German and Italian items. I cant locate any sort of stamp in the rim which seems very strange. Is there somewhere that Im possibly missing?

Nice helmet. I think it is a later one because it has reinforced holes in the liner. Rich A. in Pa.

No. Late war. It has a leather chin strap. I will post some of my Italian helmets. Rich A. in Pa.

Forgot. What are the marks on the suspension/chinstrap mount? Rich A. in Pa.

Why are you posting the Spanish Civil War helmet here. What relevance is it to the apparently late war Navy helmet posted??

Rich, I still can’t locate any markings in the helmet even with the help of your picture. Very strange.
