The US Militaria Forum (USMF) has an 11 year head start on our new World Militaria Forum (WMF), and therefore has quite a lot of information.

 

A long time ago, we decided it was permissible to include topics on the USMF for uniforms, badges and equipment of allied forces if they could have also been used by US Forces.

 

Given the role of US Forces and civilians as advisors in Vietnam, this often meant wearing uniforms and insignia of the ARVN, RVN, VNAF, VNMC and police forces.

 

Unfortunately, there is not a good way to transfer those threads directly here to the WMF. So the next best option is to provide links to the threads on the USMF. Even if you are not a member of the USMF (which we encourage), you can still view these.

 

I am going to start a list of the larger or more significant articles that we've had related to Vietnam on the USMF. I am going to break these down by topic. If anyone thinks I've missed something, send me a PM and I will add it to the list.
