Surprised paper held up Any info would be of help! I know nothing special in valor medals or such! I wish! When did they send out medals! Thanks PVON

January 15, 20197 yr #4 Those are a nice medal pair and it is nice to see them in the original shipping box. Believe it or not, the British medal shipping boxes are much more common than the US WWI Victory medal boxes. Your soldier was a member of the Durham Light Infantry. You can google the regiment to learn more about their service in the Great War. Thank you for sharing your find. Allan
