I have really grown to like the non magnetic Iron Crosses. There has been talk that they were made for the Kriegsmarine but no proof and I think they have popped in other groupings as well. I can see why someone who's in the German Navy or for that matter in the field would want one.

They did it earlier in the war and was discontinued by order of the Government or Hitler. Some fakes are out there that were made post war. I’m sure someone can give more information on the early and late Crosses.
