Here is my humble display honoring HMS Warspite, my favorite Royal Navy ship. A small barrel made from her teak, some RN uniform buttons, 2 Warspite themed cigarette cards, and an Admiral Jellicoe card. .

She had a glorious history and her fate saddens me whenever I think about it. I am honored to have a small piece of her on my shelf.

That barrel is a really neat artifact. Nice focused collection.

Thanks. The barrels and other items made from timbers of ships before scrapping was an old RN tradition. I just wish the USN did something similar.
